iTunes restores NBC Universal TV

The decision to take a breather came after executive producer Howard Gordon expressed displeasure with the direction of the season seven’s final six episodes. The producers will take the time off to rethink the show’s ultimate direction and rewrite scripts. 20th Century Fox said the show should be back in production by Oct. 9.

Young US audiences returned to “90210″ on Tuesday, as The CW’s update of the iconic Fox sudser “Beverly Hills 90210″ set network records for a premiere. For The CW, the strong launch of “90210″ gave the net two potent premium nights this week, following “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” on Monday.

MTV launches global HD service
