Richard T. Jones, who plays FBI agent James Ellison on Fox’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, told SCI FI Wire (spoilers ahead!) that his character will take the job as private security for Zeira Corp., the company run by Catherine Weaver (Shirley Manson) and a precursor to Skynet.

“Smallville” earned a 2.7 rating/5 share, according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, slightly about its average from last season, but still nearly 13 percent off its highest rating last year. “Supernatural” also did well clocking in with a 2.3/4, its highest rating in the past two years.

The Fox series earned a 3.5 rating/6 share according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, off 12 percent from its previous series low in its second premiere last week. It even finished lower than its lead-out show “Prison Break,” which ticked a bit higher with a 3.6/5.

In the second-season premiere, John Connor defied his mother, Sarah, and his uncle, Derek Reese, by reactivating the cyborg Cameron, even though her programming had become unstable. Episode two introduced Leven Rambin as Riley, a girl from John’s high school. John again defied Sarah to develop a relationship with Riley.

Anyone who watched the Sept. 8 season-two premiere of the cult-hit ‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ learned the well-kept secret that Manson’s corporate chief character, Catherine Weaver, is actually a liquid-metal T-1001 Terminator cyborg from the future.

The first, 9-episode season of ‘The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ was good — not great, but certainly on the right track with its characterizations, and serialized story. Tonight kicks off Terminator’s second season, and the premiere episode “Samson and Delilah” pays off those nine episodes in spades.

“Jericho” had a stability index rating of 92.9, while “Moonlight” had a stability index rating of 87.9. The numbers, which show the amount of audience retained based on the show’s highest overnight rating versus its average, is meant to give a snapshot look of how much audience a show retained during the season.
