‘24′ production shuts down

The decision to take a breather came after executive producer Howard Gordon expressed displeasure with the direction of the season seven’s final six episodes. The producers will take the time off to rethink the show’s ultimate direction and rewrite scripts. 20th Century Fox said the show should be back in production by Oct. 9.



Martin Wood nominated for director’s award

The ‘Stargate SG-1′ and ‘Stargate Atlantis’ director is up for recognition for his work on the Atlantis Season Four episode “Trio.” Wood also directed the recent direct-to-DVD release of ‘Stargate: Continuum’, which featured unprecedented Arctic footage, as well as the raising of a Los Angeles-class submarine.
