CW orders more ‘90210′

The show opened big, giving The CW its highest-rated premiere ever in its target audience, women 18-34 audience, as well as adults 18-34 and 18-49. The series dipped in week two but then started to tick back up last week, when it posted a 3.3 rating/10 share with women 18-34 and 3.3 million viewers; “90210″ also has added a third more viewers once full live-plus-seven DVR numbers are factored in.



‘Smallville,’ ‘Supernatural’ Open Strong

“Smallville” earned a 2.7 rating/5 share, according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, slightly about its average from last season, but still nearly 13 percent off its highest rating last year. “Supernatural” also did well clocking in with a 2.3/4, its highest rating in the past two years.



‘Fringe’ Audience Soars In Second Week

The second episode of the J.J. Abrams series picked up an 8.2 rating/13 share. It lost nearly 7 percent of the audience brought in by the season premiere of “House” on Fox, but it didn’t matter. The 8.2 was a 39 percent increase over the series premiere, and helped lead Fox to a Tuesday night win.



‘Sarah Connor’ Audience Loses Another 12 Percent

The Fox series earned a 3.5 rating/6 share according to Fast National ratings from Nielsen Media Research, off 12 percent from its previous series low in its second premiere last week. It even finished lower than its lead-out show “Prison Break,” which ticked a bit higher with a 3.6/5.



‘Fringe’ … An Unimpressive Start

The series premiere of the Fox series struggled to get past NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” earning just a 5.9 rating/9 share according to Fast National Ratings from Nielsen Media Research. However, Fox once again dominated the key advertising demographic of adults 18 to 49 pulling in a 2.9 rating, followed closely by ABC with a 2.7, meaning that while total viewers may not have been out there for “Fringe,” the ones that matter to advertisers were.



‘90210′ scores for CW

Young US audiences returned to “90210″ on Tuesday, as The CW’s update of the iconic Fox sudser “Beverly Hills 90210″ set network records for a premiere. For The CW, the strong launch of “90210″ gave the net two potent premium nights this week, following “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” on Monday.
