New ‘Doctor Who’ Movie … Starring David Tennant?

One of the stumbling blocks that seemingly is keeping star David Tennant from committing more long-term to “Doctor Who” is the fact that he wants to not just to stage work, but some films as well. To help accommodate that, BBC is geared up to make Tennant’s wishes come true as they are now negotiating with the 10th Doctor for what is being said is a film version of the hit British series.



Stars scrubbed from series finale

For the show’s final send-off, ‘Scrubs’ creator Bill Lawrence got all of the major guest stars from the last eight years to return for one epic scene farewelling the series. Unfortunately, two actors currently working on NBC shows were prevented from taking part - ‘Chuck’s Sarah Lancaster and Masi Oka from ‘Heroes’.



‘Fringe’ … An Unimpressive Start

The series premiere of the Fox series struggled to get past NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” earning just a 5.9 rating/9 share according to Fast National Ratings from Nielsen Media Research. However, Fox once again dominated the key advertising demographic of adults 18 to 49 pulling in a 2.9 rating, followed closely by ABC with a 2.7, meaning that while total viewers may not have been out there for “Fringe,” the ones that matter to advertisers were.



iTunes restores NBC Universal TV

Apple has lured NBC Universal back into the iTunes fold after a yearlong pricing dispute that flared last summer, when Apple declined to sell new ‘Peacock’ episodes because its deal with NBC was set to expire in a few months.

The first, 9-episode season of ‘The Sarah Connor Chronicles’ was good — not great, but certainly on the right track with its characterizations, and serialized story. Tonight kicks off Terminator’s second season, and the premiere episode “Samson and Delilah” pays off those nine episodes in spades.
